Job Posting for Teaching Assistant Daycare at Blossoming Minds Early Childhood Learning Center
We are looking to have a candidate who is highly motivated, dedicated, and reliable. This strong candidate will be working as an assistant teacher. Assistant Teachers are to assist in classroom activities such as implementing curriculum, centers, and communicating with parents through our Brightwheel communications app, etc. We are looking for a team player to add to our work force!
Responsibilities
- Assist head teacher in completing daily tasks
- Maintain classroom management
- Engage with children and families
- Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s background and psyche
- Collaborate with other co-teachers
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
Skills
- Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and educational methods
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
- Excellent communication and instructional skills
- Ability to act as mediator between children
- Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
- Balance between a creative mind and a practical acumen
Education
High School Diploma
Requirements
At least one year of experience preferred
