The role we are currently looking to fill is Office Administration. This role is very comprehensive and has many different and varying functions. Being a smaller company, we share in responsibilities and do whatever it takes to take care of our employees, customers and the company. The ability to get along with many different personalities is a must as we interact with employees, customers and vendors on a daily basis. A good sense of humor never hurts either. Duties/Responsibilities:
- This role is the first impression and "face of the company" when customers, applicants, employees, and the public enters our building or reaches out via phone call. We are looking for someone who can present a friendly and welcoming atmosphere even over the phone as they manage all incoming calls.
- The right candidate will have the patience and desire to help employees with any concerns or frustrations they may encounter as it relates to administrative tools or documents the employee is required to utilize.
- Directs office activities and functions to maintain efficiency and compliance with company policies, as well as employee recognition and engagement activities.
- Responsible for clerical and HR duties including onboarding and orientation of new employees.
- The right candidate for this role must be beyond reproach. They must have integrity, be trustworthy, and have the wherewithall and discipline to maintain confidentiality with proprietary, private or sensitive information.
- Inputs information and produce reports as needed.
- Oversees telephone services, email correspondence, and mail distribution.
- Maintains office supplies inventory.
- Maintains records, documentation, and files, particularly more complex or sensitive files such as employee files.
- Must have attention to detail including accurately inputting information into Payroll system (APS).
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to present or speak to a group of people as needed.
- Must be self-motivated and take initiative when presented with opportunities that could help the company with cost savings, efficiencies, and creative ideas that help grow the business, and recognize and engage our employees.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and time commitments.
- Ability to operate well in a multi-functional position.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to serve our internal customers with kindness, understanding and compassion.
- Experience with QuickBooks is preferred.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree in office administration or related field preferred.
- At least three years of administrative and clerical experience required.
- Experience with basic Payroll administration is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
