The primary responsibilities of a Project Superintendent to provide on-site supervision, to coordinate project needs between the GC / Owner / GC Sub Contractors and BluCor Construction, on all appointed projects. Understand, track and maintain contract documents, project cost vs. budget, materials acquisitions, and inventory, sub-contractor acquisition, project schedule, production reports, daily reports and closeout documents. Provide quality control, strict adherence to the plans and specifications, and they ensure OSHA 1926 is being properly implemented. This is not an 8am-5pm position and no overtime pay is available.
Job Responsibilities:
The Project Superintendent ensures that the field operations adhere to BluCor’s three tenants: SAFETY – QUALITY – EFFICIENCY
Safety – the Project Superintendent works closely with Stonebrook’s Director of Safety to implement site specific safety plans, tool box talks, OSHA 1926, and Stonebrook’s safety policy.
Quality – the Project Superintendent ensures the field installation strictly adheres to manufacturer specifications, plans, specifications, and applicable building codes.
Efficiency – the Project Superintendent ensures the operations team understands the estimated man days and implements a comprehensive plan to meet or exceed the estimate. Actual production data is communicated with the estimators for greater estimate accuracy.
Job Duties:
Pre-Construction
Familiarize project documents
Discuss with the PM any clarifications or problems
Generate and maintain project schedules
Assist in estimate reviews
Basic knowledge of Procore Construction Sofware is preferred.
Assist with budget analysis and cost projection
Attend pre-con meeting
Provide input and insight as needed
Determine equipment needs
Communicate with the PM after the project documents are examined
Organize mobilization
Efficiently and safely
Construction
Communicate with the foreman about safety, quality, and schedule daily
Communicate any problems with the project with the PM immediacy
Ensure daily field reports are turned in every day
Review the field reports
Communicate good and bad aspects of the field reports with the foremen
Conduct a weekly jobsite meeting
Review safety
Pick-up weekly toolbox talk from the foremen
Review the week’s progress
Review the following week’s plan
Daily review of timesheets
Detailed daily reports
Assist the PM with RFI’s
Manage any written scope change by ensuring the change is being implemented properly
Provide weekly jobsite reports
Licenses and Certifications
Retain personal certifications
Participate in Internal training
Safety Management
Ensure your jobsite and crews are operating within SRI and OSHA safety standards
Ensure crews are turning in Tool Box Talks
Perform daily jobsite safety inspections
Assist Operations Manager with determining man power needs
Ensure staff is following BluCor Handbook

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
