Flagger/Traffic Control

Professional Flagging company is looking to hire multiple full-time positions in Westchester County New York. This includes competitive pay and health benefits. Responsibilities:

• Performs traffic control and flagging activities for utility workers.
• Directs vehicle and pedestrian traffic through site, using sign, hand, and flag signals.
• Follows NY State safety rules and regulations for all work zones and flagging sites including assisting in setting up, maintaining, and moving temporary work zones
• Work as a team to ensure proper work zone coverage and safety awareness.
• Required to travel to various client sites in Rockland County NY as needed. Vehicle mileage compensation provided.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No previous traffic control experience necessary.
• ATSSA Certification preferred; if not certified, company will assist you in receiving your certification training (Online).
• All hires MUST have their own reliable transportation to get to and from job sites daily.

• Ability to stand, hold traffic signs, and direct traffic for long periods of time

Compensation and Benefits:

• Flagger starting pay of $17.00/hr., moves to $19.00/hr. after probation
• Lead Flagger starting pay of $21.00/hr.
