Animal Technician

We are currently seeking Animal Technicians to work at our Mankato, MN location. This position will start ASAP.

Job Description:

As an Animal Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks including but not limited to cleaning, feeding, handling, and cleaning of animal facilities. You will also be responsible for daily cleaning of animal facilities and the facility's cleaning checklist. The Animal Technician will also be responsible for the daily maintenance of animal facilities, such as cleaning and sanitizing equipment, and maintaining animal facilities in a clean and orderly condition.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in animal care or other related fields preferred.
  • Must have reliable transportation to work location.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 25 per week
