The Blue Elk Inn is looking for someone new to join our front desk team!
Our front desk is responsible for providing customer service to our guests in person, over the phone, and via email and we strive to create a positive and personal experience for all hotel guests through understanding, anticipating, and responding to their needs. Front desk responsibilities include answering incoming calls, making reservations, responding to inquiries, providing information to guests about the property, and assisting in-house guests as needed. Front desk staff also perform opening and closing procedures and other tasks as needed. Front desk staff should be able to multitask, solve problems, and work independently.
We are currently looking to fill 3-5 shifts per week. Our front desk shifts are from 7:30am to 2pm for the day shift and 2pm to 8:30pm (Sun-Thu) or 9:30pm (Fri-Sat) for the evening shift. During the summer we extend our lobby hours until 9pm on weekdays and 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Availability for both morning and evening shifts is required.
Starting wage is $18.50 and training is available. Experience is appreciated but not required.
