What are the responsibilities and job description for the Title & Mortgage Administrator position at Blue Federal Credit Union?
At Blue, we discover pathways to realize your possibilities. Our Title and Mortgage Administrators perform all duties associated with the preparation and monitoring of vehicle titles. This position is responsible for:
- Perfecting liens on all collateralized loans including titles and UCC.
- Responsible for maintaining vehicle title tracking program and sending reminder letters to members/ Dealership or refinance partners with unperfected titles.
- Record and release of Deeds of trust on real estate loans.
- Responsible for the paid in full function on collateralized loans.
- Documents all title information update and tracking via variety of platforms- Maintain current files of each state's DMV recording rules, requirements, fees, and forms
- Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act,and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
Experience: A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
Education/Certifications/Licenses: A high school degree or equivalent.Interpersonal
Skills: Courtesy and tact are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with customers and others inside and outside the organization, generally regarding fairly routine matters for the purposes of giving and obtaining information or instructions, updating or referring. Communications require shorter and not in-depth discussions most of the time.
