Cloud Architect

The Delivery Architect provides design and technical support in the consultation, planning, design, and implementation of Microsoft cloud solutions along with necessary professional services and supporting technologies. The Delivery Architect will assist with implementation on projects, keep oversight on all projects for the client, interact with cross department leads and provide Blue Mantis’ teams with environmental details and insight to assist with the ongoing integration of our services and new technologies for the client.

Technologies include:

• Azure Cloud (must understand IaaS, PaaS, Cloud Backups, Immutable backups, Storage Accounts, Conditional Access, Intune, etc. in Azure as well as M365 offerings).
• Microsoft technologies, on-premises as well as cloud (Compute, Active Directory, Entra ID, Hybrid messaging (including high-availability/DAG on-premises), Entra ID Connect, and M365 (Teams, Office, OneDrive, SharePoint Online).
• VMWare experience a plus.
• Email Messaging Security products Mimecast/Proofpoint is a .
• Isilon, PowerProtect Data Manager, Rubrik, and Zerto experience .
• BC/DR experience with Zerto or ASR is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to be onsite to travel client projects within in the MA/NH/ME/RI/CT area as needed.
• Design and implement Microsoft M365 and Azure solutions, maintaining up to date knowledge of offerings and best practices.
• Lead and implement complex projects ensuring identified business outcomes are met through the successful leadership and execution of services engagements.
• Act as a liaison between the client IT department/leadership and the Blue Mantis professional services teams and leadership.
• Demonstrate superior aptitude with technologies related to practice area.
• Ability to manage competing requests across simultaneous projects.
• Maintain technical certifications as required by organization and competency.
• Achieve personal utilization metrics as outlined by management.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Candidates must be within 1 hour of Foxboro Massachusetts.
• 10 years of relevant experience delivering Microsoft solutions to clients.
• 5 years Migration experience into Microsoft Cloud services.
• 3 years Microsoft Security baseline controls experience.
• Experience with Public Cloud strategies and solutions.
• SME in Microsoft technologies, cloud, and on-premises.
• Cloud storage expertise within Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency with solutions design, configuration, and implementation.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to produce professional written technical documents.
• Must be able work independently with a high degree of quality.
• Demonstration of professional conduct.
• B.S./B.A./M.S. degree or equivalent technical training.
