The expertise we are looking for (Software/Technical Skills):

  • 2 years minimum professional experience providing tech support
  • Configuring email accounts using Outlook
  • In-depth knowledge and usage of Windows, Mac, and iOS operating systems
  • New device setup and configuration using Out of Box Experience (OOBE) and Setup Assistant
  • Re-imaging and resetting devices
  • TCP/IP, Routers, WAPs, Wireless, and other networking devices
  • Experience using Antivirus programs
  • Must be comfortable with all facets of device hardware setup and maintenance, including installation and configuration of printers, and other PC accessories
  • Experience with networked printers/plotters is required
  • Knowledge of technical and training principles, theories, and concepts in Information Technology
  • Travel to clients for regular maintenance
  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and evolve with the client needs and our business needs
  • Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical clients, both verbally and written
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks among many competing requests

The purpose of your role and the value you deliver:

  • As a Technical Support Technician, I will provide technical resolution in person and over the phone for our clients. The technician will apply skills described above in resolving client issues and providing solutions for troubleshooting software, re-installation of OS, removal of viruses/malware, software upgrades and installation, troubleshooting hardware & network issues, device deployment, troubleshoot and set up peripherals, provide end-users with basic tutorials so they understand software, and assist clients with warranty and other issues.
  • Works in a professional manner and maintains a consistent image of Blue Maven IT, through open communication, reliability, transparency, and availability. This person will provide excellent customer service for our clients.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Benefits:

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
