What You’ll Do as a Maintenance Manager:
- Develop and monitor a systematic preventive maintenance program for an apartment community.
- Schedule and coordinate apartment turns with staff and vendors.
- Assist in writing or obtaining specifications and scopes of work for all large or capital expense projects.
- Schedule and oversee the daily work for the maintenance of pools, grounds, service requests, make-readies, move-ins, and projects.
- Respond to maintenance service requests, troubleshoot problems, and make repairs.
- Additional responsibilities as defined by the job description.

Licenses and Certifications Required of a Maintenance Manager:
- A valid driver's license.
- EPA 608 license is required– Type I and Type II, before being hired.
- A current Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification is preferred and required within 30 days of hire.
Experience:
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
