Job Description:
Blue Roofing is seeking diligent and results-driven individuals to join our team as Insurance Claims Specialists. As an Insurance Claims Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in assisting homeowners with the insurance claims process for roofing repairs or replacements. You will work closely with clients, insurance companies, and our roofing team to ensure that claims are processed accurately and efficiently, while enjoying the potential for lucrative rewards based on successful claim settlements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Claims Processing: Guide homeowners through the insurance claims process for roofing damage, including filing initial claims, documenting damage, and submitting necessary paperwork to insurance companies.
- Policy Analysis: Review homeowners' insurance policies to determine coverage for roofing repairs or replacements. Provide clear explanations of coverage limits, deductibles, and any exclusions that may apply.
- Documentation: Collect and organize documentation related to roofing damage, including photographs, inspection reports, estimates, and correspondence with insurance adjusters. Ensure that all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners regarding their insurance claims. Keep homeowners informed about the status of their claims, answer questions, and address any concerns they may have throughout the process.
- Negotiation: Advocate on behalf of homeowners to insurance adjusters to ensure that claims are settled fairly and in accordance with policy terms. Utilize your negotiation skills to maximize coverage and obtain approval for necessary repairs or replacements.
- Coordination: Coordinate with our roofing team to schedule inspections, repairs, or replacements once insurance claims are approved. Ensure that all work is completed to the satisfaction of homeowners and meets quality standards.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to homeowners by delivering timely and responsive assistance throughout the claims process. Strive to exceed homeowners' expectations and build lasting relationships based on trust and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in insurance claims processing or a related role.
- Knowledge of homeowners insurance policies, coverage options, and claims procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret policy language and assess coverage eligibility.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer applications and software, including Microsoft Office and insurance claims management systems.

Pay: $41,141.57 - $100,000.00 per year
