Blue Rose Consulting is seeking a Senior Analyst to support our work with a federal client in Washington, DC. This is a Hybrid role and is open to U.S. Citizens ONLY.
Successful candidates will be required to have an Active Secret Security clearance.
In this role you will:
Collaborate to prioritize project organizational projects based on factors including strategic alignment, resource constraints, and mission urgency
Understand the needs of internal customers, as it relates to the overall project and mission
Perform cost/trade-off analysis and level-of-effort regarding requested work by providing guidance and or templates
Coordinate with the Division to obtain project and backlog updates
Present results/outputs to leadership and relevant CA Business Units, as appropriate to the activity and the stakeholder matrix
Provide administrative and analytical support across the ITGSS team to include scheduling meetings, attending meetings, presentation preparation, speaker presentation reviews, tracking action items, and overseeing workgroup activities
Compile and organize data regarding the issues or processes that need to be improved
Maintain current knowledge of the industry including potential threats and challenges
Coordinate efforts to meet customer and business needs
Plan and estimate the specific requirements involved in a project or strategic initiative
Develop a communication process to collaborate with customers and update stakeholders on the progress of a project
Facilitate meetings with organizational leadership and organize presentations
Manage project schedules, update project documentation, determine which tasks to prioritize and ensure the timely completion of deliverables
Provide leadership to teams and collaborate with senior management to manage resources
Support the implementation of business solutions and analyze the benefits of those solutions
Identify areas for improvement and negotiate with stakeholders to implement changes
Collect project requirements and meet with project teams regularly to coordinate tasks and resolve conflicts
Possible other job duties:
Analyze data to determine better ways to implement corporate guidelines while maintaining profit margins
Identify program needs based on data collected and analyzed
Participate in strategic planning meetings
Ensure that all changes in programs and outcomes are well documented
Perform data validation and implement quality control measures to ensure the continued success of programs
Analyze programs, policies, procedures, and systems and make recommendations to optimize them
Identify and communicate potential roadblocks. Work with the Program Manager to eliminate roadblocks
Provide planning support for programs including scheduling, budgeting, and performance monitoring
REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates must have:
1-5 years’ of experience in data analysis and management
1-5 years’ of experience in data modeling and database design
1-5 years’ of experience in data visualization and reporting
Demonstrates skills in maintaining professional relationships, collaborating with others, and providing customer service
Understands and uses project management skills and schedule to ensure deliverable are made on time with a high level of quality
Effective communication skills in writing, speaking, and presenting along with active listening skills and self-advocating
Manages operations tasks, as well as stress, attitudes, and risk
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and other data analysis tools
Preferred Experience:
Knowledge and understanding of the State Department, Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA), the Office of Consular Systems and Technology (CST)
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, mathematics, statistics, computer Science, or related field
Salary: $70,000 – $120,000, Depending on Experience
