Blue Rose is seeking a Communications Technical Editor/Writer to support our work with a federal client. This role is a Hybrid role (in the office 1 day a week) in Washington, DC or San Antonio, TX. This role is open to U.S. Citizens ONLY.

Successful candidates must have an Interim Secret Security Clearance.

In this role you will:
  • Review program communications and training materials for spelling, grammar, punctuation, readability, and formatting consistency with established brand standards in support of the Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS) program
  • Additional responsibilities may include meeting with clients and customers to define content needs and create a content calendar

REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates must have:
  • 3 years of experience copy editing and/or technical writing
  • Experience writing, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Attention to detail
  • Collaborate well with others

Preferred experience:
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Mastery of punctuation and grammar
  • Experience in 508 compliance

Education:
  • Bachelors degree in English, journalism, or a related field

Salary: $75,000 - $80,000, Dependent on Experience
