Blue Sea has an immediate need for Mental Health Clinicians whom also have experience/knowledge in the field of special education, psychology, social work and/or other related human service fields. We are currently providing in-district and in-home services in over 70 School Districts in both Nassau and Suffolk Counties (Long Island). Blue Sea is able to offer competitive compensation rates and flexibility in choosing your caseload with Part-time and Full-time cases available.

Responsibilities include:

• Train and support parents/caregiver on assigned caseload
• Develop and implement interventions that teach new skills and/or reduce interfering behaviors.
• Conduct ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness of the intervention, with modification made as necessary to maintain and/or increase both the effectiveness and the efficiency of the intervention.
• Utilize evidence-based, safe & appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with all treatment team members including outside professionals, and other stakeholders.
• Establish the schedule and/or hours of work in compliance with a student’s individualized education plan (IEP).
• Provide services according to the authorization/mandate.
• Develop and submit quarterly and annual progress reports as per the timeline set forth per Local Educational Agency (LEA).
• Maintain student/family confidentiality and dignity.
• Ensure that all student data is filed/stored properly.
• Attend relevant meetings, such as CSE or IEP Meetings, as needed.

· Educational Requirements: Master's Degree or Currently Pursuing Master's Degree Required

· At least 1 year of experience providing Mental Health Services and/or ABA Therapy to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (Preferred)
