Talent Acquisition Specialist

We have an immediate need for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team in our Smithtown office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Partner with Clinical Directors to develop, implement, and manage strategic recruiting plans across a wide range of educational and clinical professions.
• Managing the screening process, including resume screening and interviewing.
• Organize and attend recruitment events such as career fairs, online job fairs, and community network events to identify and attract quality candidates.
• Create and publish job advertisements to be posted on the company website, social media, etc.
• Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates to build and maintain a robust talent pipeline.
• Research industry related recruiting trends to attract talent and drive continuous process improvement.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3 years of experience in Special Education preferred
• 3 years of Talent Acquisition or Recruitment experience required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient is MS Office Suite
• Knowledge of employer branding and recruitment strategies

Additional Details:

• PTO after 3-month probationary period

• Full Time Schedule - Monday through Friday, 8 am-4 pm.
