They are hiring a Network Architect to support the operating systems. This includes creating strategies and implementation plans, developing low-level engineering designs, and providing subject matter expert (SME) level support to the Operations teams.
This role is ideal for someone who can work in collaboration with Engineers and Architects to create holistic solutions incorporating a wide range of systems and technologies, bringing creativity to the engineering process.

Focus:
• Create implementation roadmaps and engineering designs to ensure successful execution of infrastructure projects, with a focus on virtualization and global systems.
• Participate with the teams to work with integration systems which work into existing and future network platforms.
• Design blueprints for specific projects, communicate with stakeholders and operations teams to ensure delivery.
• Maintenance of activities through regular communication with others and by attending specific meetings.
• Create build instructions for designs and support operations teams during implementation.
• Conduct requirements analysis for incoming requests, ensuring deliverables are clearly defined and agreed upon with stakeholders.
• Actively identify opportunities for new enhancements and suggest improvements.
• Include security-by-design in all solutions, ensuring that security requirements are considered concurrently with technical requirements.
• Serve as an escalation point for Tech Ops tower leads, providing SME support to operations teams and assisting with P1/P2 incident resolution.
• Align with third-party vendors to create engineering solutions and continuous improvement proposals.
• Continuously look for ways to improve systems and processes and recommend enhancement activities.
• Consistently enhance both technical and non-technical skills.
• Develop cross-functional technical expertise to facilitate comprehensive thinking during the design process.
• Perform reviews of changes and designs submitted by other teams.
• Collaborate with Operations teams to analyze root cause analyses (RCAs) and develop action plans.
Skill Set:
• BS in Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Extensive experience collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements, select technologies, and design and implement innovative, high-performance, and scalable network solutions.
• Skilled in integrating automation technologies with diverse monitoring tools and implementing advanced network operations solutions.
• Extensive experience in defining network survey requirements across various environments and leveraging the results to new designs.
• Strong knowledge and demonstrable experience of networking technologies and standards, and global network implementations:
o WiFi, Cellular, Public and Private LTE
o Mesh networks including Cloud-managed solutions
o Wireless Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (WIDS, WIPS)
o In-depth Routing & Switching (L2 / L3 connectivity)
o Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS)
o Firewall Management (policies/rules/security zones)
o Identity & Access Management
o VPN configuration
o DNS/DHCP
• Experience working with radio vendors to design and implement management and monitoring services.
• Skilled in conducting requirements analysis and creating detailed solution designs using design software.
• Provide customer service and solutions support.
• CWDP or CWNE Certification preferred.
