Looking for Dialysis Nurse (RN) in Wisconsin Dells, WI
Duration: 13 weeks full time contract
Shift: Night shift; (3) 10 hour shifts; Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
Guaranteed Hours per week: 26
Overtime Starts After 40 hours
REQUIREMENTS:
- The Registered Nurse position assists with day-to-day nursing activities. This is an important role that requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional healthcare.
- Assessment of Hemodialysis patients; leading to development, implementation and evaluation of plan of care.
- Administers, monitors and documents therapeutic interventions and regimens.
- Effectively manages rapidly changing patient stations, including delegating care to other department members.
- Assist providers with patient-related needs before, during, and after hemodialysis care; making sure their needs have been met in a timely, efficient, and caring manor.
- Triage and set up extra care at other facilities for the patients.
- Obtain lab specimens, perform lab competencies and quality controls on a regular basis.
- Educates patients and/or family members regarding disease process, individual care needs, safety issues, etc.
- Attend daily huddles, monthly meetings and participates in daily clinical decision making.
- Perform other duties as requested by Supervisor, Director and/or Providers.
- BLS/BCLS is required.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license of WI is required.
