Registered Nurse - Infusion
Duties:
- Administer infusion therapies to patients in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and home care
- Monitor patients during infusion treatments and assess their response to therapy
- Perform IV insertions and manage IV lines
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding infusion therapy and self-care techniques
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Skills:
- Proficient in acute pain management techniques
- Knowledge of sonography for vascular access assessment
- Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
- Competent in IV insertion and management of central lines
- Familiarity with family planning methods and counseling
- Experience in home care or senior care settings
- Proficient in tube feeding techniques
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding system for accurate documentation
- Experience using Epic or similar electronic health record systems
