This is a 36 hour per week position. Hours may vary in the summer depending on case load.
DUTIES
- Oversee the daily operations of the Head Start center.
- Conduct required home visits according to program option policies and procedures.
- Supervise staff and manage daily center activities.
- Coordinate family engagement strategies and activities among families, staff, and the community to achieve family and child outcomes.
- Provide leadership and supervision of ERSEA policies and procedures.
- Model sensitivity; build and foster positive relationships.
- Communicating effectively and professionally.
- Ensure the operation and maintenance of a safe, clean, healthy, and productive work environment.
- Maintain professional competence through professional growth and development opportunities.
- Oversee the implementation of state, federal, and agency requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 year experience in a management position or 2 years of Head Start experience.
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- General computer skills
