Boat Rental Attendant

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (But are not limited to):

• Greet & assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide EXCELLENT customer service
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Cleaning vessels, restrooms, and other shared spaces
• Assist with vessel inventory management to ensure all safety items are on board
• Answer phone calls/texts
• Manage reservations
• Run credit/debit card transactions
• Give basic instruction of vessel operation
• Move vessels from one slip to another, or take for fuel
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Assist team leads, management as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Knowledge of the local area and lake/river waterways
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with public speaking and engaging with customers
• Strong negotiation skills for upselling or resolving customer issues
• Comfortable around water & able to swim
• Previous experience in boating and/or sales is preferred, but not required
• Ability to board on/off a vessel with ease
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs
• Computer knowledge & systems operation
• Must have valid Driver's License

This is a SEASONAL position. Must be comfortable around water and boarding on/off boats. Perfect job for a college student, home for the summer or high school graduates!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $10.50 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week

• Boat Experience?: 1 year (Preferred)

• Driver's License and reliable transportation (Required)

• South Haven, MI 49090: Relocate before starting work (Required)
