What are the responsibilities and job description for the Area Cleaner position at Bluebird Self Storage?
We are looking for a part-time or full-time Area Cleaner to help take care of our Manchester Area locations (Manchester, Londonderry, Hooksett, Bedford and Hudson) and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition. The ideal candidate is available to work two days a week, 24-40 hours total per week. The position offers flexibility based on candidates schedule for days and shift durations.

Your role here at Bluebird would entail:
- Clean designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, floor machining, restroom cleaning, etc.)
- Walking around on concrete floors, bending and crouching down all day
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Make adjustments and minor repairs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as a cleaner
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- High school degree or equivalent
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to sit, bend, twist, lift (25 lbs.), walk, etc.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
