Responsibilities
- Embedded firmware development on innovative alternative energy power conversion equipment.
- Broaden our coverage of unit, integration, and functional automated tests.
- Continuous code curation and refactoring to maximize reuse across multiple products and MCUs.
- Creation and execution of test plans for hardware and software validation
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience developing real-time bare metal microcontroller systems in C
- Experience with Python
- Basic understanding of electronics and ability to read electrical schematics
- Familiar with SPI, I2C, and RS-485
- Experience with GIT or other version control software
Desirable
- MCU Experience: ARM Cortex M4 and M7; Linux single board computers
- Web UI tools: Javascript, HTML, etc.
- Embedded Linux
- Embedded TCP/IP - IOT
- Wired and RF communications principles
- Power electronics and power supply design
- Real time controls
