About the Role
Our Senior Consultants specializing in SQL Server DW & BI are hands-on technologists, building and deploying solutions that address our clients’ needs to uncover insights, improve decision making, and enable digital transformation strategies. We look for high performers who are self-motivated and ready to collaborate and engage with their team. Typical backgrounds include a depth of experience in data warehouses or data lake solutions on the Microsoft platform, overseeing aspects of technical delivery, and the ability to work independently. A mid-term (1-2 year) desire to transition skills sets from SQL Server to modern technologies in the cloud, such as Azure Synapse and Azure Data Factory, is preferred.
Desired Skills:
- Professional experience with data warehousing and business intelligence
- Hands-on, technical experience using SQL Server, including Integration Services (SSIS) and/or Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Significant experience with dimensional modeling for data warehousing and business intelligence solutions
- Comfortable translating technical solutions into business-specific terms, and effectively communicating ROI
- Self-starter, self-managed, quick learner, problem-solver with a positive, collaborative, and team-based attitude
- Excellent communication skills and strong engagement with other team members and clients stakeholders
- Willingness to coach and mentor others to build their capacity and skills for data/analytics
- Degree in information technology, computer science, business, engineering, or related field
- Ability to work remotely, at a home-office with option travel to client locations in the U.S.
- Authorization to work in the U.S., without the requirement for an employment visa or sponsorship
