Job Summary:

As a Field Technician, you will be at the forefront of our operations, fabricating and installing cutting-edge equipment such as cranes, racks, work platforms, and Portafab across various industrial settings. From reading blueprints to wielding power tools, your role will be pivotal in ensuring seamless installations, maintenance, and service. While most of your work will be during regular business hours, occasional overnight stays and weekend shifts may be required. We are looking for a hard worker who is willing to learn. Ideally this candidate has worked in manufacturing maintenance, mill work, or similar but it is not necessary. This is an entry position but potential to move into a Lead Field Technician with the right knowledge and attitude. Lead Technicians only hired in house.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Utilize power tools and hand tools proficiently.
  • Interpret and implement blueprint instructions accurately.
  • Rig machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct industrial installations and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Operate forklifts with precision and caution.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience in industrial installation preferred (2 years).
  • Knowledge of general contracting and millwright practices advantageous.

Physical Demands:

  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Comfortable with stooping, kneeling, and crouching as needed.
  • Exposure to loud noises and temperature variations.
  • Capable of lifting weights up to 40 pounds safely.
  • Willingness to work at heights exceeding 4 feet.

Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position with a minimum expectation of 40 hours per week. Hours are somewhat flexible, and some late evenings/weekends may be required.

Travel:

Must be willing to travel throughout KY and surrounding as job requires.

Work Environment:

Working in the field which may be inside industrial locations, possibly outside exposed to the elements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
