JOB SUMMARY:
As the Assistant Resort (General) Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in managing the daily Resort operations in collaboration with the Resort Manager.
You will also be responsible for assisting in all board communications, maintaining the Resort's assets, development of Owner and Guest satisfaction.
Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and assisting in all financial responsibilities of the Resort and maintaining good working relationships with Board members.
Primary responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, coaching; Monitor leadership staff of the assigned departments ensuring the level of service and SOP's are followed;
Ensure safety and compliance in all areas of the Resort's guests and personnel
Build rapport and understanding of our owners' and guests' needs and provide a vacation filled with surprise and delight.
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
4-year college degree in Hospitality or business discipline strongly preferred and/or 8 years equivalent in management experience
At least 5 years of hotel leadership experience split between Housekeeping and Guest Services/Front Office/Engineering/Administrative/Food and Beverage.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in all phases of Resort Management, including sales and marketing, human resources, food and beverage, budget and forecast management, rooms, housekeeping, and maintenance.
Knowledge of P&L statements and the ability to react with impactful strategies
Timeshare experience preferred
Must be able to develop management staff, planning, and organization skills.
Working knowledge of the Association's governing documents and HOA bylaws.
Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and Microsoft office experience.
