Ford and SK On are investing billions in Kentucky and Tennessee including building three state-of-the-art battery manufacturing facilities between the two campuses at BlueOval City in Tennessee and BlueOval SK Battery Park in Kentucky. About the Opportunity The Accounting & Tax Manager at BlueOval SK will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a key member of the start-up team, launching the facility from the ground up. Key Areas of Responsibility Prepare monthly financial statements and presents to management with analysis. Perform periodic closing of accounts on SAP system. Completes complex problem resolution. Collaborates with other key departments (purchasing, planning, production). Governance and internal control compliance responsibility. Leads all audits, external, internal and Tax audit. Ensures compliance with IFRS/GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting. Prepare documents for tax filing. Performs other duties are assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Comprehensive understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (IFRS/US-GAAP) and federal, state and local taxes. Strong analytical skills necessary to review/analyze accounting and financial data. Previous experience in SAP in manufacturing setting. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field. 12 years of progressively more responsible financial experience and demonstrated leadership ability. Preferred Experience CPA is strongly preferred.
