Key Areas of Responsibility BlueOval SK’s purchasing team is rapidly growing. We’re seeking talented procurement professionals capable of sourcing required components or service for business and partner with our parent organizations and suppliers. The individual willing to take on the challenge of building something new and to proactively develop, communicate, and implement the best solutions will find an enjoyable and rewarding experience in this role. Key responsibilities include: As an Indirect Purchasing Agent, you may assist in one or more of the following specialties based on your professional skills and interest: Indirect Procurement: Manage RFx processes for indirect services. Process invoices and collaborate with finance globally. Improve inventory data accuracy and MRP. Manage supplier risk and report procurement performance. Ensure compliance with ethical sourcing policies. MRO/Spare Parts Procurement: Purchase MRO/spare parts at best prices. Manage outsourcing suppliers globally. Resolve discrepancies with invoicing or materials. Communicate with customs, brokers, and vendors. Ensure compliance with ethical sourcing policies. Equipment Procurement: Purchase equipment at best prices internationally. Negotiate price and contract terms. Resolve discrepancies with invoicing or equipment. Communicate with customs, brokers, and vendors. Ensure compliance with ethical sourcing policies. Procurement Planning (including Strategic Sourcing): Conduct cost analysis and manage claims. Support documentation for projects. Analyze commodity data and industry trends. Develop long-term relationships with vendors. Ensure compliance with ethical sourcing policies. General Requirements and Capabilities Communicate with internal/external customers and cross functional teams to ensure assignments, objectives, cost savings and deliverables are on target Demonstrated ability to report to work on a regular and consistent basis; and follow company policies and procedures Get reports on key procurement/deliveries/results on a weekly basis Responsible for achieving, monitoring, and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) Confer with other staffs to coordinate activities in related departments Collect and voice opinions when the revision and/or establishment of new work procedures are needed Perform other job-related duties as assigned and report to Purchasing Lead or Purchasing Manager Stay up to date on industry trends and supply base Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree Strong responsibility, communications, interpersonal, leadership and computer skills Strong analytical, problem solving, and organization skills Effective self-starter with multi-tasking experience Ability to guide and influence at all levels Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Preferred Qualifications and Key Experiences 2 years of purchasing/procurement experience (experienced applicants) Experience in automotive/chemical/EV-related/production equipment industry Experience in data/market/indicator analysis and demand forecasting Experience in purchasing in a manufacturing environment Experience in developing automotive parts and managing procurement as a buyer or SQE Bi-lingual (English and Korean) is preferred but not required.
