Job Description
BlueScope Buildings North America (BBNA) is actively searching for a dynamic Graphic Design Associate to make their mark across our esteemed portfolio of brands, including BBNA, Butler Manufacturing™, and Varco Pruden Buildings. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of our creative projects, collaborating closely with teams across editorial and design functions.

Responsibilities
- Produce visually engaging graphics and designs for various digital and print materials, ensuring strict adherence to brand standards across all platforms. This includes websites, social media posts, brochures, infographics, design guides, and presentations.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, human resources, and other cross-functional teams to conceptualize and execute creative projects that align with the brand's vision and objectives. This will include developing talent acquisition materials for HR, such as recruitment brochures, job fair materials, and social media graphics to attract top talent.
- Create and maintain design assets such as icons, illustrations, and templates for various marketing materials and presentations.
- Design booth graphics and oversee the setup of the brand's exhibits at various events, including travel to these events as required.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design tools, sharing insights and best practices with the team to foster continuous improvement and innovation.
- Maintain high-quality standards, delivering error-free work with keen attention to detail. Seek and incorporate feedback from peers, supervisors, and stakeholders to continuously improve design work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, or similar discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a professional graphic design role.
- Fundamental knowledge of core design principles (typography, design & layout, and composition)
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Video editing/production a plus.
- Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) with intermediate PowerPoint knowledge preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to travel as needed to achieve business objectives (<10% of time).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
