Job Description: Lab Technician
This is an exciting opportunity for a Lab Technician to join our group for the development of novel therapeutics in the field of Cancer Immunotherapy. The technician will work in the Neoxpress platform being responsible for the culture and maintenance of tumor TCR libraries. In collaboration with other members of the team, this person will conduct the high throughput functional screening assays for those libraries. Also, she/he will assist in the generation of tumor-customized protocols for dissociation, cryopreservation and culture of tumor cells, as well as immuno-histological analysis of tumor sections.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Using transfection and sterile culture techniques maintain and establish new cell lines for the functional characterization of T cell receptors.
· Perform multiparameter flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescent analysis, as well as T cell functional assays, independently, following and adhering to current experimental protocols.
· Assist other members of the team in the generation and maintenance of tumor primary cultures and cell lines.
· Responsible for maintaining accurate sample and laboratory records of the tumor and TIL biobanking.
· Present regularly to management and team meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Immunology or Cell Biology or equivalent experience required, with >2-3 years of working experience preferred.
· Demonstrated work in cell culture with aseptic techniques, generation of stable cell lines using lentiviral transduction. Experience working with primary cells is preferred.
· Experience in multi-color flow cytometry, T cell functional assays, and isolation of leukocyte subpopulations from human blood.
· Expertise in immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence is preferred.
· Basic knowledge in molecular biology techniques.
· Experience with automation and robotic instrumentation is an advantage.
· Previous experience in Laboratory Information Management Systems preferred.
· Proficiency with analytical software, e.g. PRISM, FlowJo, Excel.
· Efficiency and organization, with ability to adhere to timelines and milestones.
· Excellent communications and presentation skills are highly important.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
