As a Financial Planning Relationship Manager, you will be an essential part of our team, acting as the vital link between our clients and financial planners. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can efficiently coordinate communications, manage client files, and ensure seamless operation of financial planning processes. Your role will involve direct interaction with clients, preparing and processing important financial documents, and being the go-to liaison with various financial institutions. We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, possesses excellent communication skills, and is committed to delivering outstanding client service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Communication and Coordination: Act as the main point of contact for clients, facilitating communication with senior planners, scheduling appointments, and addressing client inquiries.
  • Document Management: Manage all necessary documentation for setting up investment accounts, insurance policies, and asset management programs. This may include direct meetings with clients for signatures.
  • Client File Oversight: Efficiently manage client files through our new client onboarding model.
  • Financial Account Setup: Collaborate with senior planners to set up various investment accounts, transfer existing accounts, and apply for insurance products.
  • Institutional Liaison: Communicate with investment and insurance companies and asset management firms on behalf of clients and senior planners.
  • Event Participation: Attend and participate in client events and workshops, typically involving some evening commitments.
  • Client Service Support: Address client service requests such as withdrawals, address changes, etc.
  • Review Preparation: Prepare client files for periodic reviews.
  • SIMPLE Plan Coordination: Manage the annual SIMPLE plan review process.
  • Prospect Management: Oversee and develop the prospective client list for new opportunities.
  • Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: A college degree or equivalent business school certification.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Work Schedule: Availability for a full-time role, 40 hours per week.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in the investment industry is preferred. Securities Licenses and/or Life Insurance License are advantageous.
