Position Overview:
Responsible for Schowalter Villa Private Pay billing and Cash Receipts. Works with the Controller to prepare Journal Entries and complete monthly accounting cycle.
Essential Job Functions:
• Generate billing transactions and prepare private pay billing statements monthly
• Monitor delinquent accounts
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts for Schowalter campus monthly including maintaining reconciliation spreadsheets
• Post Cash Receipts for SV
• Perform accounting functions for Water’s Edge restaurant & Hesston Bakery & Cafe
• Manage Resident Trust Fund
• Calculate and pay Sales Tax, CPU Tax
• Assist controller with preparation for annual audit
• Prepare badges for new residents and employees, maintain resident database
• Process ACH drafts, AP ACH files
• Cover front desk as needed
• Mail delivery as needed
Qualifications & Experience
• 3-5 years accounting experience
• Working knowledge of Excel
• Proficient at Keyboard and 10-key
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Salary : $35,300 - $44,700
