Jr. Commercial Credit Analyst

Description

As a member of the credit department, the Junior Credit Analyst assists in the underwriting of loan requests and extensions of credit to business clients of the Bank as well as financial analysis with customers in the loan portfolio.

• Transfers financial information into spreadsheet format to facilitate year to year historical comparison.
• Assists in the completion of annual financial reviews which includes cash flow measurement, collateral analysis and review of both business and personal financial statements.
• Confirms adherence to Bank lending policies and procedures.
• Orders, tracks, and reviews commercial real estate/equipment appraisals, environmental reports and flood certificates to ensure compliance with regulations. 
• Analyzes asset-based line of credit ensuring compliance with their borrowing base certificates. Performs quarterly financial reviews identifying possible negative trends. 
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time and multiple tasks to meet deadlines. 
• Must be a team player; working with various internal departments and lending staff.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact confidently with loan officers. 
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
