Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional To-Go experience for every Guest – from taking both phone and walk-in orders, ringing the orders in the Point of Sale system, packaging the items, cashing the guest out and ensuring all orders are on-time and accurate.
- Interacts verbally with all Guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- Suggestively sells appetizer, entrée and dessert menu items by offering specifics and using descriptive mouthwatering adjectives when describing each item
- Understands and accurate uses the POS (point of sale) system to clock-in/out, to process/input orders and complete end of shift procedures
Qualifications and Skills
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age
- Previous To-Go, Host or restaurant experience preferred
- Reading, writing, basic math and effective communication skills required
- English language and professional communication skills are required
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated and organized
- Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge
Physical Demands
- Mobility required during the entire shift
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to eight (8) hours in length
- Ability to lift food bags and trays weighing up to 20 pounds
