The Role

We are seeking a Social Media Marketing Manager to help us take our active, successful social marketing program to the next level as a core channel within our corporate marketing engine. As the owner of the Social Marketing Program, you will create, execute, and measure strategies to help drive awareness, understanding, and adoption of Bluetooth technology across a wide variety of markets and industries.

You will promote nuanced and fascinating technology for applications far beyond audio and entertainment – think smart factories, connected lighting, or connected medical devices. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage Bluetooth SIG NA/EMEA social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube) including planning, production, scheduling, monitoring, and engagement
  • Create compelling posts that transform complex concepts into clear and actionable messages; tailor writing styles to multiple audience segments  
  • Own social marketing strategy at network and program levels
  • Utilize social channel data, audience insights, and active listening to identify engagement, testing, and other tactical opportunities 
  • Measure and report against social marketing activities on a weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc basis
  • Create and manage paid content campaigns

Skills and Requirements

  • 4 years of hands-on social marketing experience, including planning, writing, executing, and reporting
  • 1 year of B2B experience, niche B2C experience may also be applicable
  • Demonstrated writing and editing skills with a proven ability to drive engagement with targeted audiences
  • Demonstrated expertise in organization, planning, and time management
  • Highly proficient with third-party social management tools (e.g. Sprout, HootSuite, etc.)
  • Highly proficient with channel-native metrics and reporting capabilities
  • Highly proficient with Google Analytics or equivalent analytics tool
  • Proficient with end-to-end management of paid social campaigns
  • Ability to prioritize high volumes of tasks while maintaining keen attention to detail
