We are looking for an Electronics Technician to join our Engineering team. You will report to the Electrical Maintenance Manager and be expected to aid in the maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic systems.

Job Responsibilities

Here are some of the things you will be expected to accomplish:
- General diagnostic and programming of Beckhoff and Siemens PLC’s
- Perform preventive maintenance on the various Production and Automated Warehouse systems
- Install and maintain electrical control systems
- Adjust and replace defective or improperly functioning circuitry and electronics components
- Assemble, test, and maintain circuitry or electronic components per engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronics
- Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers and field representatives as necessary
- Collaborate with other departments to identify, define and solve problems
- Evaluate proposals for sound electrical engineering practice and conformance with established safety and code compliance
Job Requirements
Ideally, having an Associate’s Degree in Mechatronics or an electrical related field, as well as a minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance and troubleshooting experience in an automated manufacturing environment experience will help you take on these new and challenging assignments.
Additional requirements for this position include:
- Works a rotating shift
- HS Diploma or GED from an accredited university required
- Prior experience working with European machinery is preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, benefits, repair, and maintenance
- Knowledge of PC and PLC based Automation Control System operation, machine schematics, servo drive systems and AC/DC electrical/electronics systems
- Knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic systems, their components and schematics
- Knowledge of electronic circuit boards and computer hardware/software
- Effective interpersonal communication skills
- Can manage one’s time to achieve daily goals
- Ability to use computer, programs and their applications as needed
- Ability to teach others complex information in an efficient & effective way
- Finds it easy to adjust one’s behavior to deal effectively with other people
- Can modify one’s approach in response to changing priorities or input/feedback of others
- Able to adapt to an international company culture
- Limited US/International travel may be required for training purposes
