Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift Schedule: 2 days, 1 night shift per week; 12-hour shifts
Job Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provides direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the ICU setting. The RN collaborates with other healthcare professionals and members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in the ICU
- Monitoring and managing patient symptoms and vital signs
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Providing education and support to patients and their families
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Adhering to hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of Colorado
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $63.00 - $67.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
