BMB Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented, motivated, technically proficient person to join our team as a Technical Coordinator!
In this role, you will be responsible for client service, scheduling, reporting, workorder and project management in a fast paced IT Support environment. This is an excellent entry level opportunity with room for growth!
What You'll Do:
Serve as initial point of contact with clients over the phone and via email
Qualify technical issues with the client, and open workorders as needed
Triage, monitor and escalate workorders to ensure timely and accurate response
Schedule and dispatch remote and field resources for both business hour and after hours support
Plan, manage and schedule projects such installs, upgrades, server migrations, etc..
Work with the project manager to handoff completed projects to the support team
Provide status reports to management
When required, perform inventory of IT assets, and generate related reports
What You Bring:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
An ability to multitask, prioritize, and monitor several different communication channels (phone, email, MS Teams chats)
An ability to work independently or as part of a team
An aptitude for technology, and a desire to build a career in IT within a growing organization!
What We Offer:
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm, for a minimum of eight (8) hours per day (not including one hour lunch) and a minimum of 40 hours per week. The employee may also be asked to work weekends if necessary (the position is eligible for overtime, for hours worked in excess of 40 during the week).
Salary: Between $50-55K Annually, based on experience and skillset
