As a Security Officer, a typical day might include the following :
Greeting guests and providing them with fast, friendly service
Accurately checking guest identification
Ensuring all dress code procedures are being enforced
Monitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervening when needed according to company guidelines
Handling situations quickly, efficiently, and safely
Diffusing difficult situations
Ensuring safety of both guests and staff throughout the entire venue
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications :
At least 1 year previous security experience in a high-volume, upscale food and beverage environment and / or nightclub
Must be able to pass Big Night Entertainment Group's requirements in regards to legal background check
You present a neat and professional appearance
Ability to communicate effectively and accurately with customers, the public and co-workers
Ability to demonstrate teamwork with other staff members
You have flexibility with schedule which includes availability to work nights, weekends and holidays
Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
Proven ability to de-escalate issues
