Overview:
BNG is a small and vibrant fabrication company seeking an energetic and resourceful individual to grow with us. Directly assisting the company’s owner and collaborating closely with other department heads, BNG’s Administrator oversees regulatory compliance, office management, personnel and payroll, and takes an active role in managing internal accounts, providing client services, and planning project delivery. The bulk of this position is expected to be performed on-site, but a limited number of remote hours and/or days may be arranged; occasional availability beyond regular working hours is rarely (but sometimes) necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive workspace for our diverse crew
- HR and benefits administration, payroll processing
- Client services and communications
- Updating company calendars
- Records management and documentation
- Bookkeeping via QuickBooks
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements
Requirements:
- Higher Education degree (Associate- or Bachelor-level) and/or administrative employment of at least two years
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and QuickBooks
- Excellent verbal and written communications, including phone skills
- Ability to multitask under pressure and organize information from multiple sources
- Attention to detail
- Personable, professional manner
- Discretion in handling confidential materials and information
- Willingness and capacity to learn new skills
You'll stand out if you also have:
- Arts management or experience with entertainment, theater, and/or events industries
- Familiarity with Google Workspace
- Extensive knowledge of QuickBooks, including reconciliations
