Data Entry Clerk II (contract)

We are seeking a professional level Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Wilmington, Delaware - 2 days a week in office for a 12-month contract that has potential to convert to full-time! Responsibilities:

• Complete Sub-accounting Operations support activities for clients of medium to high complexity. Serves as team lead in support of day-to-day operations, providing work direction, technical assistance on complex matters, client service delivery and quality control.
• Calculate and validate gain and loss activity. Reviews work of more junior colleagues and answers any questions of higher complexity and may occasionally work with clients.
• Research exceptions and follows through to resolution. Reviews work of more junior colleagues and answers any questions of higher complexity. May occasionally work with clients.
• Apply analytical, problem-solving skills, judgement, and experience to analyze information.
• Interface via e-mails, phone or teams chat with clients, management companies, transfer agents and/or internal service partners.
• Communicate trade rejects or communicate transfer activity breaks to the clients via e-mail and in accordance with client instructions, take the appropriate action timely and accurately.
• In good order, trade/dividend correction requests communicated and authorized by the client, manually process, or submit an upload timely and accurately.
• Perform basic excel functions such as VLookUp, create Pivot Table and Formula
• Assists clients with problem resolution.
• Foster a positive client relationship in researching, addressing, resolving operational issues to appropriately manage client requests or inquiries.
• Work effectively with peers within/across teams and sites to create, modify and sustain best practices – demonstrate willingness to be a change agent.
• Provides guidance to less experienced Sub-accounting Operations as needed and trains staff on current or new procedures.

Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• 3-5 years years of total work experience preferred.
• Experience in Financial services Operations and/or client services preferred.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, and visual communications skills preferred.
