We’re seeking a talented Analyst to join our Middle Office team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA in a Hybrid working environment. When hired the title of the role will be Intermediate Representative, Middle Office.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Under minimal supervision, performs moderately complex functions supporting accounting, trading and client services activities.
- Research cash and position exceptions to ensure all activity is accurately processed.
- Work with management, client and custodians on discrepancies requiring escalation.
- Provides guidance to less experienced Middle Office support staff, as needed.
- Responsible for the quality and completion of own work.
- No direct reports.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- High school/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics), Accounting or Mutual fund industry background is a plus. 1-2 years of total work experience preferred
- Experience in Investment Management or other financial industry experience is preferred.
- Intermediate understanding of Excel.
- High level of communication skills.
- Remain organized and be able to handle multiple priorities.
- Work independently but also be a helpful teammate.
- Comfortable asking questions to gain understanding on any area where understanding is limited.
- Reconciliation experience.
