We’re seeking a future team member in the role of Full-Stack Developer to join our Corporate Technology team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL - HYBRID.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Managing the complete software development process from conception to deployment
Managing the end-to-end life cycle to produce software and applications.
Overseeing the automated testing and providing feedback to management during the development process
Develop code using secure coding practices.
Collaborate closely with team members to take shared responsibility for the overall efforts that the team has committed to.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
This job description requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent with 5 years of experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field because it demands that candidate showcase the capabilities of a skilled IT engineer who is proficient enough to analyze, design, develop and test a fully functional software system. The relevant degree and experience are needed so that the candidate can demonstrate “hands-on” capability in day-to-day work with high level of accuracy, precision and commitment and just doesn’t rely solely on his/her academic/theoretical knowledge for handling tasks.
Expertise in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries such as React JS, Angular, jQuery
Knowledge of server-side programming languages including Java and Python and use of RESTful APIs
Familiarity with DBMS technology, including Oracle, Vertica and caching mechanisms such as Hazelcast
Spring Framework (Spring-Core, Spring-MVC, Spring-Batch)
Distributed processing technologies like Apache Spark
Hands-on Knowledge on using Cloud concepts and deployments in a containerized environment
Software build knowledge using Maven/Apache Ivy
Knowledge on DevOps for use of CI/CD pipeline
