RFP Project Manager

As an RFP Project Manager you will serve a critical role in the support of North American Distribution’s business development and relationship management priorities through the timely and accurate completion of RFPs, RFIs, Due Diligence and Ad Hoc requests. You will partner with Client Engagement Managers, Salespersons, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Product Management, Operations and other necessary internal groups.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary team member assigned to RFPs, RFIs, quarterly, semi-annual and annual due diligences.
- Coordinate all communications with all internal resources in the evaluation, vetting and completion of all requests. Anticipate and resolve any issues arising from engagement with clients and prospects.
- Conduct kick-off calls when needed; identify appropriate subject matter experts and resources necessary to obtain specialized content and data.
- Develop and manage project calendar noting all deliverables throughout the process.
- Research, write, and edit new qualitative responses. Conduct research and analyze quantitative data to ensure accuracy in all responses.
- Contribute to RFP Database while working with Database Manager in the collection of all new language.
- Serve as reviewer and approver of RFPs, RFIs and DDQs processed by other team members.
- As an integral team member share best practices, new developments, newly written responses and all other related items. Serve as a back-up for other team members.
- Takes lead on larger, more complex proposals and projects associated with the nature of departmental needs
General Requirements
- 3-6 years of RFP experience within the investment management industry
- Strong knowledge of investment management strategies, vehicles and RFP process
- Excellent project management skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong writing, editing and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites; experience with RocketDocs a plus
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business management, etc.
