We’re seeking a future team member in the role of Specialist, Technology Relations to join our Clearing, Markets, Treasury & Shared Services Engineering team . This global organization of over 2,500 employees is responsible for developing and supporting applications for critical business lines, creating cutting-edge scalable enterprise solutions, developing solutions for international regulatory compliance requirements, as well as delivering technology to support the Firm’s Digital Assets strategy. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA - HYBRID .

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Plan and execute networking and engagement events both in-person and virtually, including budget management, content development, leadership talking points, catering, signage, and branded merchandise.
Manage and oversee the employee award and recognition programs to spotlight our employees and key initiatives, including identifying nominees, writing nominations, securing corporate approvals, and promoting award wins.
Promote and coordinate DEI & Culture initiatives that spotlight our employees and increase talent retention.
Support recruiting efforts by creating talent messaging and marketing materials to elevate BNY Mellon’s profile to external candidates and encourage internal mobility.
Promote and coordinate Learning & Development opportunities to maximize performance, retain talent and encourage job growth.
Identify and take advantage of internal opportunities across the enterprise to spotlight our leaders, employees, and initiatives.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of experience preferred.
3-5 years of total work experience preferred. Proficient in writing and editing.
Ability to act as an owner, oversee multiple projects, work in a fast-paced environment, and independently develop creative solutions to problems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with expertise in building and managing interactive events (virtual and in person). Expertise in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, WebEx and Microsoft Teams (required).
Passion for storytelling and demonstrates empathetic and inclusive leadership.
Bonus points if you’re skilled at video editing, SharePoint development / management, and generally technically savvy and/or have experience working with tech-centric workplace culture programs.
Experience in the securities or financial services industry OR technology industry is a plus.
Supports key strategic initiatives in the planning, analysis, delivery of projects.
Drives project execution for respective areas and owns key initiatives within their function.
Identifies new tactics to support overarching Technology Relations objectives across functions.
Supports the development and deployment of strategic key messages for Global Technology.
Owns the development of functional calendars and knowledge repositories .
Uplifts and maintains playbooks to document key areas of expertise for internal reference and training and external knowledge sharing.
Ability to create vision and strategy, but also, and equally important to carry through to execution – thinkers and doers Proactive and self-motivated to work ahead of deadlines, doing what it takes to do the job well and above expectation.
Attention to detail and deep organizational skills Ability to work independently or with a team.
Ability to operate in a fast paced environment under tight deadlines. An understanding of C-Suite needs / understands the need for accuracy and expediency.
Contributes to the achievement of teams' objectives and supports achievement of functional area objectives.
