We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, to join our Middle Office Account Onboarding team. This role is located in Manchester, UK and will be working on a hybrid basis. (3 days a week in the office). 

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Responsible for JSIT, JUAT and UAT testing for Middle Office Operations while also handling the client engagement for each phase. 
  • Responsible for overall success of client testing and conversions, ensuring client satisfaction through the monitoring of project quality and efficiency as well as the direct client experience. 
  • Leads large complex conversion activities related to a mix of complex institutional client relationships requiring the in-depth understanding of middle office, custody and fund accounting processing activities. Completes an accurate conversion of data on Middle Office systems to provide daily, weekly, or monthly valuation clients. Reviews control reports to effectively mitigate risks and resolve problems that arise during the conversion process. 
  • Leads project management activities for testing and conversion such as reporting, planning, issue / risk tracking, scheduling, effort estimation and day-to-day tracking, and other project documentation preparation. Identifies significant gaps or quality issues in transition processes and makes recommendations for improvement.
  • Acts as SME to support Product in defining service offering. 
  • Exercises own judgement and collaborates with multiple internal and external stakeholders to resolve testing and conversion issues and reviews/approves work of junior team members. 
  • Regularly interacts with clients in answering questions and resolving multifaceted inquiries for the implementation phases of JSIT and JUAT. 
  • Creates internal and external metrics for Middle Office JSIT, JUAT, and UAT phases.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or the equivalent combination of education and asset servicing experience is required.
  • Experience in asset servicing, middle office, derivatives, corporate actions and accounting essential for this role.
