Senior Director, Head of Product Partnerships

We’re seeking a Senior Director, Head of Product Partnerships. This role is located in New York.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

• Responsible for the growth of strategic relationships with top technology & fintech platforms (eg Microsoft, Snowflake, MSCI, Accenture), and the quality of our integrations, co-sell and GTM strategies with those platforms
• Lead external landscape analysis for product functions and features, determine ownable space and incubate new product features and capabilities in collaboration with third-party partners to expand commercial opportunities
• Source the right partners to help our solutions better serve our joint client base, or to open up new markets, channels and sectors
• Unlock opportunities for BNY to continue differentiation in the market and set the pace for innovation in new product suites and geographies
• Evaluate, negotiate and maximize partnerships to enforce BNY’s status as a top-tier partner to realize most cost-effective partnership model
• Engage shared clients on the partnerships’ value proposition/benefits and product roadmap to drive co-sell efforts
• Serve as an executive stakeholder to influence the product strategy of partners
• Lead partnership SteerCos to track joint roadmaps, defined strategic initiatives, product explorations, etc
• Operate with enterprise viewpoint to ensure a 360 view of these relationships and take advantage of potential synergies 
• Collaborate across BNY with product, partnership and commercial leaders to scale impact and build new discipline through effective partner planning
• Develop and execute playbook for partnership structures & tiering / benefits, including target client lists, joint media/conference appearances, etc.

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $136,500 and $300,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
