Two (2) years of progressively responsible office experience or general business or other related Experience. College or business school studies/training may be substituted in whole/part.
Bi-lingual proficiency a plus.
As member of the Public Campaign Finance Unit, the duties, and responsibilities of the Confidential Clerk, are as follows:
1. Provide accurate, courteous, and professional responses when answering the PCFB main telephone line.
2. Direct all inquiries (phone, email, and mail) to the appropriate contact person for response.
3. Open all mail, and sort and ensure delivery to the correct unit and/or individuals.
4. Assist with the processing of public campaign finance forms, filings or documents received.
5. Create and mail correspondence to candidates and treasurers as applicable. Log returned mail that was deemed undeliverable by the USPS.
6. Scan public campaign finance documents.
7. Log and maintain electronic versions of public campaign finance materials.
8. Assist in the preparation of responses to subpoenas
9. Assist in the copying and filing of various documents in the appropriate location and maintain such filing system in an organized and complete manner
10. Provide additional assistance and administrative support to the unit and sub-units as needed.
This position requires the ability to handle sensitive matters in a confidential manner. It also requires proficient Microsoft skills (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and the routine use of email and a multi-line phone system. Essential skills include excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and considerate customer service skills.
