Additional information about the company can be found online at www.bwpipelines.com.   We are currently looking for a Pipeline Controller I/II/III for our Sulphur, LA office.   POSITION DESCRIPTION:   In this role you will ensure safe movement of product in and out of the Boardwalk Louisiana Midstream (BLM) assets, perform dispatch for facility operations, continuously monitoring equipment and serve as primary operational contact for Boardwalk Customers.   Duties: Control hydrocarbon liquid flow on the BLM pipelines while meeting regulatory requirements Monitor SCADA system alarms and recommend appropriate operational changes with internal parties Anticipate dynamic pipeline conditions resulting from customer demand, adverse weather and/or abnormal operating events Respond to emergency conditions to minimize adverse impacts Participate in implementing operating plans to support scheduled facility outages React to unplanned facility outages Establish appropriate operating set points and hydrocarbon routing patterns to enhance cost effective dispatch decisions Initiate volumetric and pressure conditions necessary  to satisfy external customer receipt and delivery requirements Coordinate with BLM Business Development to minimize volumetric imbalances     REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:   2-4 years of experience in energy industry or related field Maintain safe working conditions Ability to train to competency and perform pipeline control via a SCADA system Ability to perform mathematical computations Able to comprehend work plans Ability to work in a team and take direction from supervisors Able to work a day and night 12 hour rotating shift Ability to work overtime including weekends Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint   PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:   4 Years of experience in energy industry or related field Pipeline or chemical processing experience   REQUIRED EDUCATION:   High School Diploma   PREFERRED EDUCATION:   Associate’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent   ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:   Boardwalk Pipelines, LP maintains a drug-free workplace and will require pre-employment drug & substance abuse testing before hire.   Boardwalk Pipelines, LP is an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer.
