Marine Technician

Marine Technician Job Description:

We are looking to hire a skilled Marine Mechanic to inspect, service, and repair marine engines for our clients. As a member of our Service Technician Team, you will be responsible for inspecting and servicing engine equipment, troubleshooting, and making repairs to all systems on the clients boat and motor.

Other tasks include, rigging of new sales boats, install of upgrades such as GPS units, radar & auto pilot systems, stereos, power poles, ETC. To ensure success as a Service Technician for Boat and Motor Superstores, you should have extensive knowledge of marine engines, be able to work on land and water, be able to diagnose electrical system issues, and have a strong work ethic and desire to grow with our company.

Marine Mechanic Responsibilities:

Working in all weather conditions - Working efficiently - Testing the performance of marine engines and electrical systems - Performing engine services and repairs on out board and inboard marine motors - Performing diagnostics and repairs of electrical systems - Inspection and repair of marine plumbing - Completing service records and repair documents Marine Mechanic Requirements: - Proven work experience as a Marine Mechanic - Ability to lift heavy materials and work in confined spaces - Ability to work on the water - Ability to work in all weather conditions - Pre-employment drug screen and background check - Supply all tools necessary to complete required tasks - Reliable transportation to work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour
