BoaVida Communities is an industry leading property management company specializing in Mobile Home communities and RV parks. We currently have an opening for a full-time community manager at our Tampa property. We are seeking a qualified, responsible professional to join our growing team!
PAY & BENEFITS: Compensation will start between $15.00 - $20.00 per hour, dependent upon experience. This is a full-time position with business hours primarily Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Paid time off accrues from date of hire. Sales bonus available. Occasional overtime. QUALIFICATIONS: A Community Manager is the primary person in charge of resident accounts and is vital to successful management of our community. Applicants should be self-motivated, show initiative, be reliable, responsible, communicate well, and be able to multi-task. Having knowledge of basic office computer platforms and software is mandatory. Applicants that have experience in property management or mobile home park operations is a plus but not required. Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a plus but not required.
An ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
- Previous community or property management experience
- Effectively communicates with residents, vendors, employees and supervisor
- Is a positive, responsible self-starter who works autonomously with minimal supervision
- Willing to work on weekends in the event of an emergency
- Seeking long-term employment
- Skilled and articulate communicator, in person and in writing
- Proficient with computer systems (MS Office, Windows, web-based programs/software)
- Ability to processes rents and making collection attempts
- Enforces community rules and issue appropriate notices
- Effectively markets the community, homes for sale and vacant lots
- Maintains and cleans common areas
- Bilingual English-Spanish
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Great customer service
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Direct day-to-day operations of a mobile home community, as well as maintain the overall appearance and safety of the property
- Enforce community rules and regulations and follow all applicable safety procedures
- Work effectively, cooperatively, and respectfully with co-workers, clients and other contacts
- Manage and monitor all vacancies
- Show homes for sale
- Create and post ads for homes for sale
- Perform inspections on individual spaces
- Maintain sites prior to and after resident occupancy
- Serve violation, non-payment and non-renewal notices to tenants
- Respond to emergencies
- Answer phone calls
- Data entry and interface with Rent Management software
- Manage lease signing with new residents
- Basic accounting and balancing
- Service the residents of the community as your customers
- Work with and communicate with maintenance staff, regional manager and the corporate office for effective community management
- Effectively use Microsoft Windows, Word & Excel, Management Software, email, scanners, and other basic office tools
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have reliable, registered transportation
- Must have a valid drivers license with a clean record
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be eligible for employment in the United States
